"We fall out of line."

Part 15

Drew and I ran upstairs to shower. Casey and Ace were going to Ace's house to shower. Once I was out of the shower, I got dressed in an outfit Drew picked for me. It was yellow denim shorts with a blue cami. It was simple but really cute. I picked out white shorts and a plaid cami with a mini white sweater for Drew. I french braided my hair and clipped my bangs back. Drew scrunched her hair and straightened her bangs. We walked downstairs and the guys were already there. "You guys are quick." I said slipping on my Ed Hardy's. Drew slid on her shoes and we walked out the door. I was hand-in-hand with Casey. We started walking when we saw a few younger kids playing with a blue bouncy ball. "Drew. Do you remember when we used to run around and throw a ball like that at random windows?" I asked her and she started cracking up. So did Casey and Ace. "You guys did that?" Casey asked us as we continued walking. "Yea. When you had mono we did that after we left your house." By that time we were at the park. I looked around and saw a bunch of people, including the football team, which also included Gustavo. I ignored them and so did everyone else. "Is that why I lost my bouncy ball?" Casey asked us. I looked at Drew and we both ran away. We ran up a hill and around the playground a few times. I looked at Drew and we were both laughing like crazy. Then I looked behind me and the guys were right around the corner. Just then, I ran into someone and fell down. I was rubbing my head and I saw a hand. "I'm so sorry." A guy my age said. I have never seen him before though. "It's fine. My fault I wasn't paying attention." I said taking his hand helping me up. He had black hair with blonde tips and dark blue eyes. "I'm Carter. I just moved here from upstate." He said smiling. "I'm Harmony and this is Drew." I said pointing to Drew. "And I'm Casey. Harmony's boyfriend." Casey said putting his hands on my shoulders. "I'm Ace." Ace said obviously noticing some tension already forming. "I'll see you arouund Harmony." Carter said, winked and walked away. Casey was squeezing my shoulders. "Casey. Stop your hurting me." I said in pain. He let go of my shoulders. "Sorry Har." He said and kissed my cheek. I just nodded and walked over to Drew and Ace. Was he always going to get like this? I mean he was squeezing  my shoulders really hard over a guy we bareley know. I don't know if it would make sense to other people, but it does to me. "You okay Har?" Drew asked me bringing me back to reality. "Oh yeah. I'm fine." I said. Casey took my hand and squeezed it gently. I looked up at him and he had a questioning look on his face. I just nodded and started watching a butterfly flying around. "Let's go walk around a little more." Drew said. We all nodded and stood up facing away from the school. We brushed off all of the dirt from our legs and clothes and looke down the hill we were on. Suddenly, I feel hands on my back and before I knew it, I was rolling down the hill, heading towards a concrete, basketball court. The last thing I remember was hearing laughter from one person and then a bunch of people surrounding me, before I blacked out.
