As my body shivers and my thoughts spin through my head,
I find myself all alone wishing I were dead.

Heart wracking sobs move through my body and I find it hard to breath,
I should’ve gotten up a long time ago and found the strength to leave.

You’ve torn my heart to shreds and I just can’t take it anymore.
You think you can always run my life, but I’m not your prisoner of war.

You used to be all that mattered to me and I didn’t care about the people who were always true.
Now I have learned from my mistakes and I’m letting go of you.

You’ll always be in my heart and I’ll never completely get over you,
But I’m going to try my hardest to move on and to find someone new.

So I want to say my last goodbyes and give you one last kiss,
No matter what else I may encounter in life, you’re the thing I’ll forever miss.
