Was it me,
who broke a heart?
No,  I was the one
who had her heart broken.
Was it me,
who lied about their emotions? 
No, I was being lied to.
Was it me,
who gave up in the end?
No, I was the one being given up on.

So how is it my fault that we didn't work out?
