tardies, time, friends, people, peer pressure, lunches,
awkward smells, wierd looks, unforgiving
faces.. it's chores, responsibilities,
limitations, expectations, family,
annoying brothers, alcoholic parents, alcohol
itself, drunken slurs, names being
called, two a.m., rude wake-up calls, holey socks, curly hair,
itchy ankles, smeared eyeliner. internet, facebook statuses.
stupid boys. it's unopened eyes, restricted ears, closed
minds, open mouths. it's acne. it's cheap razors and
non-lasting perfume. loose-fitting jeans and unflattering shirts,
dumb bras, childish underwear. it's wanting &
not recieving. it's giving &
expecting. it's not knowing, being
naive; being quiet and kept to myself.
