Ghetto is spelled with two 't's and an 'h' because 'geto' doesn't look ghetto enough.

Actually, ghettos used to refer to the section of the city where Jews were sent during WW2 to keep them isolated from other parts of the town. So, the spelling of ghetto has nothing to do with what it means today:)
