Seeing the Impossible Chapter 15- “Are you okay? I heard a large crash” Aunt Maria came running in and looked worried. I shook my head, trying to stop my speeding heart. I force myself at he, “I’m fine I just thought I saw a spider.” “Don’t scare like that Jillian” She said with a sigh of relief. “Sorry about that” I reassured her before she nodded and made her way back down stairs. I slump onto the floor. No way, they were real. The Shadows wasn’t all in my head. And I have proof just minutes ago when Shade had thrown my lamp across the room and I saw it all unfold before me. I looked out my window to see Andre staring at me with concern. My heart started to pound, did he saw what I saw ? “You okay? What happened?” He said opening up his balcony window. I gave him a smile and opened mines, “Nothing just having a rough day that’s all” “SO what happened to your lamp over there” he asked pointing to where the broken lamp was. I’m surprised Aunt Maria didn’t see it. “I was caring it and then I was clumsy enough to drop it.” I lied without another hesitation, I knew what I was going to say, I was so use to lying already. I didn’t want him to be scared of me also, this was the first time I made a friend after their death and he made me forget about the Shadows. “Okay you should sleep now, you look exhausted ” Andre suggested. I nodded, “Night.” “Sweet dreams Jillian” he gave me a wink before he went back in. I slowly shut the curtains and crawled to bed, I need to leave the lights on that’s for sure. But about thirty minutes later, Ant Maria turned the powers off and I was consumed by the Shadows once more. ‘No one likes you, not even Andre, he’s just pretending!’ ‘A curse child who kills all she loves’ ‘You don’t want to kill him too now would you?’ “Shut up!” I yelled covering my arms with my arms to block them all out but they just kept going, louder and louder till I couldn’t even hear my own thoughts.
