Maybe if your school has Amnesty International, you can join and talk see if there is a way to organize a school wide presentation about human rights, and you can give your speech there to raise awareness.

if you are in highschool(or when you are) see if your school has a forensics team. then look into the event called original oratory. it's where you make speeches and get scored. there are some really good ones and it gives you good feedback if you want to go farther with speeches. just an idea..
