Techincally since it's the government, they can do whatever they want even if they don't have our say. They can choose and close any website they want to. + Since some people on witty have songs on their profile I'm guessing they're going to consider that piracy too. So, vote no or else they can do whatever they want with anyones stuff....
They basically have the ability to shut down any website if they feel it violates the aforementioned bills. The bills want to stop piracy but they also detain our liberty. The day you let the government control the Internet is the day society goes rampant.
i heard about it in august, i'm sorry but it really annoys me how this is the only thing people are against. they're oblivious to every other bill out there.
i'm against the bill; it's unconstitutional obviously., but it bothers me how people only care about this bill.
