How to put your username into your layout ~
To be able to use your
layout properly, you need to be able to replace putusernamehere
with your own username. Let's say that your username is
captivated.
In the layout somewhere, there are links. They should look something like this, and there are multiple.
www.wittyprofiles.com/author/putusernamehere/comments
All you need to do, is put your own username where putusernamehere is, so it looks like this:
www.wittyprofiles.com/author/captivated/comments
Remember to fill out ALL of your links, not just one, otherwise only one of the navigations will work for you! Now to move onto your follow and block links. To find out your user id, you need to look at your profile while there is NO editing. Next to your profile photo, there are 6 pieces of information (Member since, last signed in, aim, quote stats, user id and action). Next to 'user id', it should say a number. This number is your user id. Now what we have to do is exactly the same as before, but a little bit different. Lets say that your user id is 123456.
Underneath your average links, there should be something that looks like this:
<a href="#follow" id="follow_user id here" onclick="javascript:follow.startfollowing(user id here);">
