Two weeks passed and it was already Christmas morning. It was just me and my mom. I gave up on calling my dad. I sent him a locket with a picture inside of me and him as a Christmas present. I got nothing. I gave my mom her present which she loved, and I got a new hair straightner and iphone and clothes. At 3 I ran over to Ariel's house to give her the present I got her. It was a cute aqua shirt with a brown jacket. It would look great on her. I knocked on the door and her mom answered. "Oh hi, Danni! Merry Christmas! Come on in. Ariel is in the living room with Ryan. They're just exchanging gifts. "Oh... should I come back later?" I asked, feeling like I was intruding. "Oh no, I'm sure it's fine." Ryan and Ariel were steady now and I was so happy for her. She's happier than she's ever been and Ryan is... well Ryan. Seeing them together makes me want a boyfriend badly. I walked into the living room to see her opening her present. "Awweh! This is the scarf I wanted! Thanks Ryan! Love you!" She pecked him on the cheek. "Hey.. Am I interuppting?" I asked. "Danni! Hey! Come in! Your present is right here." Ariel exclaimed. I opened it and recieved a beautiful pair of brown feather earrings with a couple of bottles of nail polish. "Ariel! I love it! Thanks so much!" I gave her a hug. She opened hers and loved it as well. We heard a knock at the door. "I'll get it!" Ariel said. It was just me and Ryan in the living room. It was so awkward. None of us said a word. Ariel came back with Drew behind her. "Hi Danni." Drew said. "Merry Christmas...this is for you.." He handed me a small box. I opened it and a silver necklace with a $10 starbucks giftcard was inside. "Oh gosh.. thanks Drew..I didn't get you anything I feel horrible." I said. "Don't worry about it.. I have to run. But have a good Christmas! Bye Ariel, Ryan." They waved and he ran off. "Aw! He is adorable!" Ariel said. "Yeah, just adorable." Ryan muttered.
