High school. A prison for kids. Its
purpose; make the lives of all kids miserable.
My name is Selena McCloy. Im a freshman. Im a little old nobody. Most people say that Im gorgeous . I dont see it. Im in love with the head quarterback. Unoriginal. I know. This is my story.
"Selena, are you even listening?!" Amy yelled, trying to get my attention in the lunchroom.Amy has been my best friend for a while. We met at a camp that was over run with big giant rats. We both had to be sent home early because we got in trouble for petting the rats. Its basically impossble to talk to anyone in the lunchroom.
"Uh, what? Uhm. yeah. Whatever. . . " I was to busy staring at James McCloflin. The school hottie. Head quarterback. You know the story. Nice girl likes nice boy,nice boy likes slu.tty b.itch.
"SELENA! IM TALKING TO YOU. ARE YOU STARING AT JAMES AGAIN?" Everything went quiet. I mean VERY quiet. Yup, if someone dropped their pen.. you would hear it. Oh my gosh. Did anyone hear her? I instantly hid my face, praying that nobody heard Emily, and if they did, that they didnt know who I was. I slightly lifted up my head. EVERYONE was staring at me. I felt my cheeks start to warm up. Oh no! I hope James isnt here. I braved one more look. UGH. There he was. Right there at the oppisite side of the lunchroom. Just kill me now.
"Oh my god Selena! Im so sorry!" Emily was apoligizing over and over agian. But I didnt hear her. All I was focused on was getting out of there. So I did what I do best. I ran.
