Because a lot of people are over dramatic
and like over using the words "I love you" and "Im depressed"
theres a difference between being sad, and being depressed...(:
I realize this isn't a question that requires an answer, but, HA, I'm just so coool that I'm gonna answer it anyway;)
Well, our society has raised us to make the world a popularity war. We strive to be put into that category, "popular". We STRIVE to be LABELED. We see popular as a good label. We see TV shows and movies that the "popular kids" are happy and on top, but in real life, it's a label of how many friends you have as oppose to who your friends are, what type of people they are, and we all feel like in order to be accepted fully in the messed up society we live in today, we have to be in that group of "popular kids". But popularity is based and looks and rumors, and we push eachother out of the way to reach the top, putting others down. Because the "popular group" is small compared to the amount of teens/pre-teens in the world, most of our generation is depressed because the "popular kids" will bully, torment, and verbally abuse the kids who aren't in that label in order to maintain their status, and we begin to believe it because of how we were raise, raised to believe that popularity is all that really matters...
haha so much for not answering it(:
