Cutting My Way
Through
Chapter 3
I sat on my bed in shockm paralyzed. For
the first few minutes, everything that was said went in one
ear, and out the other. I felt my eyes darken, and the room
grow darker, as if it was night. Everthing became a high
pitched buzz, and I lay down on my bed, hoping it would go
away. The last thing that I remember before everything turned
black was my door flying backwards and landing on the floor
next to me.
"He seems to be okay now, it may take a few more minutes
for him to wake up." I heard. There was a long pause and I
felt a warm air hit my face about every two seconds. My body
felt numb and I slowly opened my eyes, I saw a man in a blue
button down shirt, and a white cotton jacket wrapped around
him. I looked around the room and I saw a small desk, a swivel
chair, and some hand sanitzer, next to the oversized door, it
was a cramped room.
"How are you feeling?" The man said. I was just about
to answer when I realized that my mother was in the room too.
"Okay, where am I?" I asked the man. "You, are
at the hospital, Keith." The man said.
"What!, Why!?" I demanded.
"You went into shock from blood loss and from being scared
so badly, you were unconscience for two hours."
I sat there, dumbfoundedd. I turned my head to look at my
waist, it was then I saw my forearm. It was wrapped tightly in
white bandages. The edges and center of the bandage were
covered in a dark maroon color.
