Faltering Pride I run long days, and catch my breath in the black

Faltering Pride

I run long days, and catch my breath in the black of night. But my weakness remains cloaked, my strength shall oversee all shadow, and I will keep running until death forces me to stop. I will be strong. I won't let them win. And as my tears falter, the sun will rise, and as the beams strike my swollen eyes, the bloodshot impurities that rim the gateway to truth are a rumor; no more true than the girl who claims to just be tired, when you don't know how long she's been running. No more true than the part of me that wishes her legs would break; no more true than the girl who wishes to die.

not that anyone read this anyways, I just needed to get this off my chest.
