This, is my story.
I am physically and verbally abused by my parents and schoolmates.
There is only one boy who cares.
Connor.
But, he's 'popular', and I doubt he'd want to ruin his rep with me.
My 'best friend' killed my horse.
He was my boy. The one who understood.
He was the only thing I could trust.
I have to work to eat.
My parents just sit all day, spending my money on illegal drugs.
To top it off, I have a disease: ventricularmegaly.
It means fluids are filling my brain.
I don't have enough money to pay for the surgery that would correct it.
My expected lifespan in 20 years.
I'm sixteen.
I have four years left.
I will never be able to build a family.
To have a husband.
To graduate collage.
To hold a little baby, knowing that it's apart of me.
Twenty years, it's nothing.
I'll just be starting out on my own; just be figuring out my life.
