The Problem

The problem is:
I see you at school every day,
I see you get bullied every day,
Being called things that I’d never mention,
Being called things that make people pay attention.

The problem is:
The teachers don’t care even the slightest bit;
The students, the bystanders, are worried about getting hit.
Bullies that carry out the bullying hurt him,
That innocent boy, whose bright light now burns dim.

The problem is:
Name-calling,
Bullying, Bystanding,
Silence.
Not a word is said,
To help the innocent boy,
Who will forever lay,
Unanimated.
