I still love you.

Chapter 23.
  Conner's POV-
I drug both mine and Kadri's suitcases to her house.
I had to fix things.
When I arrived, the front door was left wide open.
"Hello?" I called, but the only responce was my own echo.
"Kadri?" I muttered, walking up the steps to where I remembered her room to be.
When I arrived at the top of the steps, I realized all of the lights were off, and her bedroom door was locked.
"Kadri, please open up!  I'm sorry!" I pleaded, banging on the door.
After minutes of knocking, she still didn't open up, or answer.
"Stay away from the door Kadri, i'm kicking it open." I said hesitantly.
After 30 seconds, I busted the door open with my foot.
As I entered, she lied in here bed with her hand over her heart.
I walked over to her.
"Kadri, wake up." I shook her softly.
"C-connor?" She whispered, barely audible.  "What are you doing here?"
"I'm so sorry Kadri, I love you.  I love you more than-"
"It's too late." She stopped me, her eyes barely open.
"No Kadri, please, just give me another chan-"
"Connor, look." She pointed weakly to the floor.
I turned my head, seeing dozens of pills scattered across the carpet.
I turned to her, my eyes filled with horror.
"No, Kadri, no!" I scereamed, holding onto her hand tightly.
I placed my head onto her chest, hearing her heart beat slow.
Knowing she didn't have much time left.
I pulled out my phone, preparing to call 911.
"No Connor." She pushed my phone down, with all the strength she had left.
"Kadri I can't let you die!" I began to cry.
"They'll never get her in time." She whispered.
I leaned down to her, kissing her one last time.
"Stay with me Connor." She said weakly, holding onto my hand.
I crawled into bed next to her, holding her in my arms.
She then handed me a letter, dated July 23rd.
That was today.
"What is this?" I asked her, tears still mutely rolling down my cheeks.
"J-just read it." She stuttered, pushing it towards me.
'Dear Connor,' it read at the top.
'The past week has been the best week of my life.  It brought back so many memories I know i'll never forget, and I hope that you don't either.  You've made it pretty clear that you don't love me anymore, and i've grown to realize that i'm never going to be able to accept that.  I'm sorry that i've been holding you back for so long, Connor.  You deserve to be happy.  And I know that someday, you are going to make some girl the happiest person out there.  I'm just glad that got to be me, if only for a little while.  You understood me like no one else could, and like no one else ever will.  So please just understand now, that this isn't your fault.  It's mine.  Ever since we broke up, i've been in a constant battle with myself.  And now?  I've finally lost.  You mean the world to me Connor Joseph, don't ever forget that.  Don't ever forget that, don't ever forget us, and please, Connor, don't ever forget me.
And p.s. Connor,'
I then looked over at Kadri, who smiled weakly at me while I finished the last sentance.
Her eyes then closed, and her hand fell from mine.
'P.s. Connor,
 I Still Love You.'
 So sad..:(..♥  Probably not the way most of you thought it was going to end, or how you wanted to end, but I guess that just goes to prove that not every story has a happy ending.  I can't believe the story is over already!:(  Normaly my stories last about 30 chapters or so, but I just felt like there really wasn't much left to say.  However, being that a lot of you requested more chapters, I have decided to do an extended ending.  That is, if you guys can reach 145 faves?(:..♥ Thanks so much for all the support guys♥
