The Perfect Family; Chapter 30
I lay on the ground, crying my eyes
out, for about 5 minutes before Sam comes up.
"Ari... are you okay?" he whispers, his voice shaking.
"What do you think." I mutter.
"Please, don't." he mumbles, knowing what I'm thinking.
I open the cabinet under the sink and grab my razor, the one that I haven't touched in so long.
I take a deep breath as the blade hits my skin and the blood trickles to the ground. I cut and cut, until my forearm is a bloody mess, when Sam unlocks the door. He gasps when he sees me.
He picks me up and cuddles me in his arms for a little bit, then sits me on the bathroom sink, cleans up my arm, and wraps gauze around it. He wraps his arms around me. Then he pulls away, picks me up, and takes me downstairs, with my razor in his hand. He makes sure I'm watching him as he throws my razor in the garbage.
I sigh as he takes the garbage out to the curb for the garbage man to pick up in the morning.
He comes back in and takes me upstairs, puts me in a black baggy shirt that reaches to my knees, and short sweat shorts.
He lays me in bed, tucks me in, kisses my forehead, lays down next to me, and we fall asleep, wrapped in eachothers arms.
