Love Never
Dies

{{Arianna}}
''We'll see you later, call
me when you get out of the hospital.'' Jamie told me. He
was trying to make me smile today, didn't work. I had no
reason to smile, I had leukaemia. I nodded my head and crossed my
arms. My arms were battered with bruises, actually most of my
body was battered in bruises. To me I had no symptoms for
leukaemia but apparently I just wasn't looking into the
signs. I had got a fever, I had easy bruising, and I had some
joint pain but I was sporty so it was normal for the last two
things. Fever? Everybody get's fever's don't
they?
''Okay, bye,'' I
replied.
''Wait,'' he said.
''You look gorgeous.'' Jamie grinned, he told me
every day in hope that I'd feel better about myself. I got
into the car with my dad, my mum and brother were busy today so
they couldn't come but they usually did. When we found out I
had leukaemia tests were done to see how far the cancer had
spread in my blood and bone marrow. When we got to the familiar
hospital I was greeted by my favourite nurse.
''Arianna! How are you feeling
today?''
I mumbled,
''good.''
''You look wonderful as
usual.'' Hah! What I liar. I looked horrible, firstly I
was pale my usually tanned skin gone, my green eyes were dark and
lost their usual emerald look and not to mention my once brown
hair gone. I had lost a lot of weight as well, food tasted
disgusting to me. ''Dr Sam should be here
soon.''
Doctor Sam came out, a smile on his
middle-aged face. I scoffed, why was he smiling? ''Hello
Ms Arianna! How are you feeling? Come here, come here.''
We went into a room and I sat next to my dad. ''So today
we'll be cheeking how to Chemotherapy is going!'' I
was doing Chemotherapy in hope I'd get better. Chemotherapy
was the use of drugs to kill cancer cells, yup doesn't sound
very nice.

I was sitting down, on my phone playing
a game and waiting for the Doctor to come and tell us everything.
''Arianna darling, are you feeling any pain?'' My
dad asked. Doctor Sam probably put him up to
it.
''No.'' I didn't
feel any pain except from the usual pain but that was normal, I
had learned to numb the pain and I was used to it now anyway.
Doctor Sam came in, paper's in his hand. He was frowning and
I couldn't help but remember how he looked the day I found
out I had cancer. Exactly the same.
''How's everything
doctor?''
''Mr Jones can you please come
outside so we can talk?'' Doctor Sam asked. My dad got up
and walked out of the room, leaving me alone. I fiddled with my
pale thumbs and waited until they came back. After what felt like
forever my dad came back in, Doctor Sam following. My dad had
been crying... this couldn't be good news.
''Daddy, what's
wrong?'' I asked.
''Uh, baby girl... Doctor, do
you mind telling her, sorry I can't.'' Doctor Sam
nodded.
''Arianna, there's no easy
way of saying this but... your cancer's in its final stage
and you've got about 4-5 months to
live...''
