Chapter One

I woke up from my strange dream. My fore head was cover in ice-cold sweat. I had been getting these dreams  a lot lately. I sat up and jumped out of my bed. I threw on a black My Chemical Romance cut out shirt with a neon green tank top on underneath,slipped into stone washed black skinny jeans and some Vans. Well I guess you would like to know a little bit about me. Let’s see, my name is Tara. I am 13 years of age, my hair is long with a scene cut,blonde with blue streaks. I’m super white, I don’t even tan in the summer.My eyes are crystal blue. I used to ride a horse named Blackout,(who was white) but it got to expense so I had to quit. Music is my life. I love Black Veil Brides, My Chemical Romance,Breath Carolina and Sleeping with Sirens are my favorite. I hope to meet their lead singer,Kellin Quinn one day.Ok enough about my life story.I ran down the stairs to see if my mother had gotten up yet. Nope,she was sleeping on the couch still. My dad was in the bedroom. I didn’t know why they both didn’t stay in the bedroom,but whatever.I ran into the kitchen and sliced an apple. I was sitting at the counter when I heard the front door open,followed by shouting and two loud gun shots. I ran into the living room,as two men were leaving it with all of my mothers gold jewelry and diamonds my father had bought her. I screamed. My mother was laying on the floor,dead. I started to cry,my blue eyeliner streaming down my face.
