Do you wish it was me?
 Chapter 1
It was the last Sunday of our freedom. The last day of summer
School starts tomorrow, and the crew decided we all wanted to do something special
I woke up to the vibration of my cell phone against my head. It was Lila
"Come open your door love, we're all here!" She said in her more than excited voice
"Its open, come on in. You woke me up, so just stay in the living room."
"Will do" She said and hung up the phone
I crawled out of bed, and took a good look in the mirror.
I grew a lot over the summer, and I blame it on all of this running
I brushed out my light brown hair, then poofed my bangs, and put the rest of it in a side bun.  After, went into my bathroom and washed my face
& I applied a fresh coat of makeup, consisting of foundation, eyeliner, mascara, and a little bit of gold shimmer on my eye lids.
The gold from the eye shadow really showed off the light green colors in my hazel eyes. I got dressed, threw on a pair of white shorts, with a pink cardigan with a cami underneath
 Once finished, I went down stairs to meet them
Of course, the guys were all huddled around the TV playing video games with my twin brother Connor.
While the girls sat chatting about who knows what. Once they saw me, the girls greeted me
"Soooo, What do you guys wanna do?!" Willow said louder than normal to get the guys attention
Once they all turned around, I automatically locked eyes with Dylan
He looked amazing. Just like he always has.
His blonde hair was not long, but not short, and his eyes were still green as ever
Of course I missed him, and of course I wouldn't dare to let it show.
If he can be happy, why can't I?
While Blake, Aiden, and Nathan where trying to find something for us to do, Connor pulled me into the kitchen away from everyone else.
"I need to talk to you..." he whispered
"About?" i questioned
"Its about Dylan. Him and his girlfriend broke up a couple days ago" he shared
"Really now? And what? After he breaks my heart, he expects me to come crawling back to him?" I was starting to get upset about the whole situation
"Well no" he said "I guess not. I just feel like you haven't been happy lately. The last time I saw you walk through the front door smiling, was when you were still dating Dylan"
He was right. Connor always knew when I'm down. He honestly just knows me better than I know myself. But if theres one thing I do know. It's that I am no guys second option. You choose me, or you lose me. And in his case, Dylan lost me.
But some times when you get lost, It's because you were meant to be found
I soon realized after the prolog, that 50 faves was wayyy to much to ask for. I'm just going to continue writing. Its something I enjoy doing (: If you'd like to get notifications of when chapters are up, you can comment on my profile.
