Living Summertime Chapter 1: "Are we there yet?" my little sister complained as we drove down some road. "Almost there." my mom said. We have been driving for hours to a new summer house my parents just got in upstate New York. My sister, Carol, and I have only seen pictures of this place and it looked prety nice. Its also lake front with a dock and everything. Finally we came up to a long dirt road that we turned on to and we could see the house. "We're here!" My dad said stating the obvious. The house was moderate sized but the lake was beuatiful. There was a dock, a kayak, a small private beach, and the lake was huge. We all decided to look around on our own and i noticed some naighbors in the yard next to ours. There were adults cooking on a grill, two older guys throwing a football and a guy on their dock about my age fishing alone. "Rachel come in the house and unpack some of your stuff!" my dad hollard to me. "okay!" I said back. I took one last look at the boy on the dock and headed back to the house. Okay so i decided to start this new story and i think its going to be a good one. Chapter 2 coming soon! and sorry about this first chapter being so short the other will be longer. Also any feedback would be great!:)
