@DarkEyedBelle, i agree with you a lot (im not 12) but trust me, when you're 15/16 you'll realize that you can't plan on having a boyfriend. I thought the same things when I was 12, but actually it turns out completely differently. When life hands you a boyfriend, that's when you'll get one. End of story. And to the girls who are 12 and are offended- the quote writer did not say that ALL 12 year olds are like this. The quote writer was mentioning that MANY 12 year olds are like this, which they ARE. So everybody stop being so offended, go back to your lives, and move on.

Okay 90% of these comments are saying "I'm 12 and don't do any of these things" the quote is just expressing that the expectations of 12 year olds has changed a lot

ok im 12 and i dont do ANY of tht stuff on there. not every 12 yr old is like tht and like 90% of them arent. dont judge based on a few ppl

Yeah.. that's just what people thinkl. I am 12, I dont wear makeup, I dont have a phone, I dont wear tight or short clothes, I dont even KNOW what "my yearbook" is, i dont drink, I dont do drugs, I dont cut, i dont post pictures online, I DONT have a boyfriend and I am not planning on having one until I am 15/16, I dont try to look older. Why? Because I was raised well, and I have self respect.

I'm 12 and I do like none of those things and most 12 year olds I know don't even do that I still watch disney and act like a 4 year old but This is true it's just society.

Its not just 12 year olds its everybody thats at a teenage age. It soceity has changed but I guess we just have to adapted to it.
