Dear religious people against gays, I'm pretty sure the bible

To the person arguing love thy neighbor doesn't mean the "abominations". Love thy neighbor meant every other person in the world, regardless of personality, appearance, sins, or even if they are gay, lesbian, or straight. It never was pick and choose who it applied to, an even if you want to say being gay is some awful sin, I seem to remember a good section of the bible being about how Jesus would eat with sinners in their homes and treat them no differently.

You guys do realize that the Bible has been translated from many other languages BEFORE English right? So the whole entire Bible could be wrong for all we know because no English speaker has read the original Latin Bible.

Yes. It is true the Bible says that God loves all of his children. But, It says in Leviticus, "Man shouldn't lie with man, and Woman shouldn't lie with another woman." I believe that you have you facts wrong. If you have read your Bible, you would see that it clearly says that God is Jesus' father, ONLY GOD. Not two men. It is a complete and utter disgrace to humanity. God struck down the gays in the Bible, he shall do so in real life. I believe that the gays and lesbians and gross and yes God did say that you are to love thy neihbor. Not the abonations. You are not a real Christion believer if you think it is correct to be homosexual. That makes you as bad as one of them. You can't be gay and expect God to love you. You can't. Read the bible. You will see. Homosexuals are abomanations to God. God will strike them down.

Ok I totally agree with it and I am a devout Christian. I'm straight but I get into aruguments with people at my church about it because I fully support gay rights. I don't think it should matter, people should be able to love whoever they want. Jesus also said to love as He loved us. Ruining someone's life is NOT how
He treated us.

All of you throwing up the Lev: 20:13 have no argument because you are taking it out of context.
That's like me saying "I like to play zombie video games. I eat people."
Then you turning around and saying that I like to eat people and claiming I'm a cannibal. Read the whole Bible before you start throwing your religion at people.

1st Jesus did not have 2 dads. God is Jesus' father. He just appointed Joseph to help him out on Earth.
2nd I am a Christian an I am against homosexuality. I know people who are gay. I treat them no differently than people who are not. What you're saying is partially true. Yes God loves ALL of his children and created them in his image. God loves everyone no matter what. Gay or straight, drunk or high. What he hates is the sin. Being gay is a sin. He created THEM in his image. God created Adam and Eve in his image. Made for each other. Man and Woman.
Hate the sin and unconditionally love the sinner. Hope this helped.

the definition of marriage is between one man and one woman. not two frickin men or two frickin women. if youre gonna be gay, idgaf. just dont try to redefine marriage. THATS why im . And, um, Jesus did have two dads. But neither were gay.... God loves everyone, yes, but it doesnt make gay being right, being gay is a mental disorder. It means the hormones are out of whack. See nearly all the people on the comments are christians (i think) and they all have different arguments on the topic and they are all giving different parts of the bible which shows that there is not only one bible.God sent down the bible to Jesus to teach people how to live.In the real bible it states that Another prophet will come after him but this has been changed by people according to their opinions.

Whenever someone says God created Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve I seriously want to punch them in the face. It's so annoying.

There is not only one bible so people get confused.Im not against gay marriage but Jesus didn't have 2 dads & god wasnt his dad because god doesnt have a wife nor is he human.Adem and Eve were actually created to live in heaven,and there was a tree of apples where God told them strictly not to eat from.Satan tricked them into eating from the apple tree telling them how delicious it was.After that the world was created and is a test of who will folllow the satans saying (and go to hell :/) or who will obey God.Theres only one God and jesus is not his son... This makes sense to me and i wanted to share it.

there are gay christians you know, god judges us by each person not as a nation or anything. im christian and i really dont have a problem with gays, i dont agree with it because the point of humans is to reproduce but still whatever floats your boat.

The bible also says "Love thy neighbor as yourself" so really, using the bible as an umbrella to hate someone really doesn't do much for you.

Read the Bible shug. Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit, not Joseph. Joseph wasn't his biological father. Hence the term "Virgin Mary"....

God created us in his image and we have freedom after we are born he has no control over what we do.
And he only has one dad and thats God. Joseph was not the father of Jesus because Mary was a virgin.
So your points make no sense and if they have the right to have gay marriage I have the right to be against it.

So, there you go. I'm not trying to be mean at all, just want to set the truth straight. God himself said that he hated a man, Jesus did not have 2 fathers. Jesus is God. And God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. o.o
