I don't agree with gay marriage. I think it's wrong,

I understand that this is your appoint but I believe Jesus died to save are sins so even if it is a sin God excepts you and the Bible was not written be God, but I man. So God may be ok with it.

Landon, you shouldn't just go by what the bible says. Do you think god wrote the bible?? No random people just like you made it up. It's a book. It should not define your beliefs and your rules. You should be against it for your own reasons. And I'm an athiest but "god" loves everyone right? And "god" accepts everyone for who they are. I mean "god" is the one who created gay people so he can't. Complain if their gay. You cannot choose to be gay. I hear what you're saying, but am I not trying to be mean just stating my opinion, but this country does not follow all the rules for the bible. America is a place for freedom and for rights given to you not judging who you are. Someone who is gay and married will not have harm upon someone else. Its like saying, my neighbor murdered someone, I guess I am going to jail too. This country is made up of different religions so of course its not going to follow all the rules, but if they did then we would really be in a tight life style, like if we all followed Leviticus, we wouldn't be allowed to wear two different materials, get piercings, tattoos, touch pig when its dead (goodbye bacon), and etc. That's just my opinion.

It's her opinion. Not all of us agree with it. I certainly don't. I've heard this over and over again from 'Christians' at school. The Bible is written by HUMANS. Jesus didn't write one word in the Bible. The Bible is re-written over and over again, by humans, so I don't read it.
You can't condemn someone on the way they live. It's their life. If they choose to love someone that is the same gender, who cares? Are they hurting you? No. Are they bothering you? No. They wouldn't rally and they wouldn't be so open if everyone just accepted them and know they're not going anywhere. They just want to be heard. They don't want to be ridiculed. They're human too.
The only basis some people have to go against gays is religion. Last I checked, state and church are separated.
I'm not hating. I'm just saying, everyone has their opinions on the gays, but at least try to either tolerate them, or if you can't, ignore them.
Beating them and ridiculing them and telling them God doesn't love them won't make them any less gay than it would make you any less straight.
One more thing: Gays go to church too. Maybe not all, cause not everyone in the world believes in religion, but some still do. God is important to them too. Who are you to take that away from them?

Homosexuality most certainly is not a choice. I don't understand why everyone thinks that! Why would someone choose to live like that? To be ridiculed every day? To not have the same rights as us 'normal' people? They wouldn't. And yes, it is something different in your brain. The...'straight' gene is disfunctional. No, it's not passed down, or catchy. It's almost a sort of birth defect, one that you can't see, feel, or even know about until someone comes out and tells you.

I agree with you Landon, and I think it was awesome of you to be honest and put this quote up. There are a LOT of people who agree. Some are haters, but most people will agree. I think there's this whole bandwagon thing going on where people side with freedom of sexuality or whatever, but really.. no. God made Adam and Eve. Not Adam and Steve. I don't dislike gay people, but I don't approve of their actions either. And @Mooly, there are answers to your questions. Yes, God made everyone in his image. But God did not create man to love man and women to love women. God does not make you gay either.. Homosexuality is a choice. It's not a gene or something that's carried over. Let me ask you, if god makes everyone in his image. EVERYONE, and it is proven that gay's have something different in their brain, didn't god have to make them that way? And how do we know for SURE the bible wasn't just written by some random people? We don't. Besides, there are so many religions in america. There is someone from EVERY religion. So why do we base gay marriage on christianity, when not everyone is christian? There are some people in the white house that are gay. And honestly, what is going to happen if they get married? Are you going to die? If there going to be mass destruction? Rules and laws are changing. every. Day. If we based everything on the bible we would all be sinning. According to the bible, it is a sin to walk more than a certain amount of steps on a sunday. If america is a 'free' country, that 'has no specific religion', why are we argueing?
