Did you
know?
The acronymn "swag" originates in the 1960's when being gay was
looked down upon as unlawful to even be together. The acronymn
itself stands for "Secretly We Are
Gay."
Wrong. Shakespeare invented the word. It may have been used as an acronym but it did not originate for such a purpose, and there is no reliable website stating that it has even been used as such an acronym.
There is no reliable website that confirms that S.W.A.G (Secretly We Are Gay) did, indeed, exist. On a daily basis, the acronym is used in the US Air Force, standing for "Scientific, Wild- Guess" and most commonly by teenagers as a word to describe the way they carry themselves (e.g. the way they talk, the way they dress, etc). It originated from the word "swagger", invented by William Shakespeare, English poet and playwright from the 16th/17th century.

Actually the word swag originated as stolen goods or loot and was carried by a swagman. The acronym S.W.A.G happens to stand for secretly we are gay, and is probably something you found on Urban Dictionary.
can't wait to tell all the guys in my estate this; they've always thought of themselves as someone with SWAG :'D
