Scarlett/Unknown's POV
He laughed. "Why are you asking questions, when you know the whole story, sweetheart?" A smirk glided across his cheeks. "Revenge; sweet and simple, revenge," Vengeance blurring into a blaze in his eyes, filled with a fiery breath of darkness.
"So you killed them all?" I asked again. I wanted this conversation to go on longer.
Who knows; maybe that way I will live longer?
Sirois's eyes met the ground and he silently chewed on his lower lip; a clear sign of anxiety. He was scared. But of what?
"So you killed them all?" I repeated my question for the third time. Still, no reply. "I'm only asking you a simple question." Okay, maybe not so simple.
The words 'You killed them all?' in a sense of saying is a pretty short and easy thing to say (put into speech), but if you look at the deeper context and the words 'killed them all, then its not the simplest and brightest question to answer.
"We haven't got all day; lets just kill the girl and get it done and over with." Brett's voice echoed as his managed to growl after the dark tone he had used.
"No. She wants answers, doesn't she?" Sirois looked up at me, meeting his cold, emotionless eyes with my hopeless ones. "Doesn't she?" He smirked as I snapped back to reality- he was asking me a question. "Yes, that's exactly what I want." I spoke in an equal tone to him; meeting his dark and cruel character.
"Then its true," Sirois's smug look was starting to appear back; it was the same look he gave me when he was talking about my mother and his relationship when they were in high school. Its the smirk that always suggests something bad is surely about to happen.
"Whats true?"
"That I killed them all," He smiled, and completed it with a spine chilling crackle that filled the amphitheatre.
Drag things longer Don't stop. Keep asking.
But it was too late: warm, hot tears were burning down my face. My vision was blurring, sliding me away, slithering me to the deepest, darkest corners of my brain.
I closed my eyes.
The obscure thoughts I didn't want to ever see were slowing flashing before me again:
An faded image of my mother, followed by small children and a tall man; then there's me.
Well probably not me, but a little girl, who slightly resembles me. She's crying. But why?
The woman's face is a bit more clearer now, and it almost resembles Elizabeth Cromwell (Wasn't she my mother's sister?).
Then could the blurred woman be Agatha, my birth mother.
Where are these thoughts coming from? Nick used to tell me that the deepest and strongest memories are always in your brain, and if you try to remember them, they change, every time; But memories that are from your childhood...Well...they'll always be there, inside your head, inside your brain; kept locked, and secret.
The little girl who looks like me, or probably is me; holds out her hand to her mother, that is paying attention to the other kids now.
"Scarlett, come here and clean up your brother's face, the cake is smothered all over his clothes now," The mother whispered, while she tied up a little girl's hair into little pigtails.
In seconds, the tall man appeared again. "They're back," He whispered; there was a slightly worrying tone in his voice. Who's back?
The mother didn't say anything, instead she ran over to me, picking me up and running outside, with me in her arms.
"You know what to do," She mumbled to the driver in the old horse cart. The driver nodded, and looked at the seats at the back.
"I'll take her to the lakes," He growled, looking ahead of him and not daring to look at my face.
Tears were running down the mother's face, she looked at the little girl and slowly put her on the seats, kissing her forehead and then backing away, before the horse neighed and was clomping off.
It doesn't take a genius to figure out that the little girl was me, and that was mother; the tall man was my father; and the other little boy and girl were my siblings.
I don't know what happened after that, maybe the fact that the town exploded and everyone in it died.
The people that came back (the ones that my father was talking about; the tall man; 'They're back') were probably Sirois Mandeth and his men.
So whatever happened to my siblings?
Sirois said he killed my mother and father and the whole town. But he never mentioned my siblings; did he not want me to know that I had a little brother and sister?
What ever happened to them?
Now that is another question he'll have to answer.
But that can only happen when I wake up.
I was meant to post this on the 1st August, but never got the chance; because I've been going around to other people's houses after my B-day(: Sorry :'(

We met in kindergarten. We were best friends.
She always told me she loved my eyes. I didn't quite know why.
I was in love with her, so of course my face lit up immensely whenever she said it.
She was beautiful, kind, and extremely funny.
We'd be talking about nothing, and she'd turn to me and whisper,
"I like your eyes."
One day, I was playing basketball,
waiting for her to drive over to my house to have a game with me.
Suddenly, I got a phone call.
It was her mom. She was in a panic.
I couldn't quite understand what she was saying. It sounded like,
"Aaron, come quick! Kelsey, accident, Main Street! Blood. Come now!"
I had no clue what happened,
so I ran to Main Street with my basketball shorts and a tee shirt on.
I saw Kelsey's mom helplessly crying, waiting for the ambulance to arrive.
I saw a totaled car, blood everywhere.
Then I saw her, Kelsey.
My heart stopped as I frantically ran over to her.
"Kelsey? Kelsey!" She was unconscious. I started crying.
I know it isn't very manly, but I couldn't help it.
Before I could say anymore, the medics took her away,
the main source of blood coming from her head.
I went to the hospital that night,
I went every night.
in fact, the only time I left was to go out to eat, but that's it.
The doctors tried getting me to leave, but I refused.
It was all my fault.
If it wasn't for me, wanting to play basketball with her,
she wouldn't be going through this.
It was already four days, and she hasn't woken up.
On the fifth day, I saw her eyes gently open.
"Kelsey?" I called.
She wasn't quite awake yet.
Suddenly, doctors came rushing in, telling me I had to wait outside.
I did, for a few hours.
One of the doctors finally came out saying,
"I understand that you're Kelsey's friend, Aaron?"
"Yes," I whispered.
He bit his lip.
"She woke up, she's fine,
but I'm afraid she has long term memory loss."
"Are you serious?" I almost shouted.
"I'm afraid so."
I didn't meet his gaze. I couldn't.
I wasn't going to say anything, so he spoke again.
"You can go see her if you want,
but she doesn't remember anything, not even her mom."
I walked in, trembling in horror.
I saw her. She looked helpless as she slept.
I waited a few hours, until I saw her eyes opening gently again.
I expected doctors to run in, rushing me out.
Instead, she looked me straight in the eyes, and whispered,
"I don't know you, but I like your eyes."
