After saying it to myself for 10 minutes I get it.. Lol.. Since the clown hides from 'ugly' people, the other person has never seen the clown. Meaning, he's 'ugly' Hahaha :)

Bird: I teweeted before it was cool:)
Black Butterflies I entered the enchanted forest. The dark trees closed around me as I was enveloped by the eerie twilight. The entire forest was deathly quiet; the only sounds were faint and faraway. The tinkling of bells and the occasional muffled rattles arose from somewhere among the shadowy underbrush of the forest. The scent of rainwater and lilac lingered in the air. I began to walk deeper into the forest. After awhile, I stopped, hopelessly lost, and leaned against a giant tree. Soft moss pressed soothingly into my aching back. I was exhausted, having walked for about two hours, roaming aimlessly through the forest. I had no idea where to go and was beginning to give up hope, when a cloud of black flecks caught my eye. I approached cautiously, afraid to frighten them into flying away.I pushed myself off the tree and curiously made my way towards it. As I neared, I realized what they were. Black butterflies. I stopped in front of them, awed. I admired the graceful way they fluttered about. They surrounded me , as I turned a slow circle, following their delicate movements, entranced in their peaceful aura. Then, absentmindedly, I raised my hand invitingly. I caught my breath as one of then settled gently on my finger. A ticklish tingle ran up my arm as it crawled towards my wrist. I gazed at it, as its dark perfect wings, flickered, showing off a pattern of intricate swirls. I caught flashes of sapphire, flash on its midnight wings. Suddenly, it stilled, as it seemed to stare up at me. It then dramatically spread its wings and softly lifted of my arm. It flew over my shoulder and I turned around to see it take off into the forest. The others followed it, a trail of dark figures wandering into the night. I followed them, awed by how they seemed to be leading me somewhere. We passes by many trees and shrubs, The forest seemed to go on forever. After some time, I heard a noise. It sounded like the roar of rushing water. My ears perked up at the sound and my mouth watered in thirst. We soon reached the edge of the forest and before us was a magnificent waterfall. The clear, sparkling water fell from an enormous height into a lake surrounded by trees. Beyond them were towering mountains. They were capped with clear white snow that glistened under the full moon. It was a breathtaking sight. I closed my eyes as refreshing droplets of water sprayed me, blown by the wind. I turned towards my saviors, the black butterflies. But they were gone…. *this is a short story, 5 faves and I 'll post another.*

We met in kindergarten. We were best friends. She always told me she loved my eyes. I didn't quite know why. I was in love with her, so of course my face lit up immensely whenever she said it. She was beautiful, kind, and extremely funny. We'd be talking about nothing, and she'd turn to me and whisper, "I like your eyes." One day, I was playing basketball, waiting for her to drive over to my house to have a game with me. Suddenly, I got a phone call. It was her mom. She was in a panic. I couldn't quite understand what she was saying. It sounded like, "Aaron, come quick! Kelsey, accident, Main Street! Blood. Come now!" I had no clue what happened, so I ran to Main Street with my basketball shorts and a tee shirt on. I saw Kelsey's mom helplessly crying, waiting for the ambulance to arrive. I saw a totaled car, blood everywhere. Then I saw her, Kelsey. My heart stopped as I frantically ran over to her. "Kelsey? Kelsey!" She was unconscious. I started crying. I know it isn't very manly, but I couldn't help it. Before I could say anymore, the medics took her away, the main source of blood coming from her head. I went to the hospital that night, I went every night. in fact, the only time I left was to go out to eat, but that's it. The doctors tried getting me to leave, but I refused. It was all my fault. If it wasn't for me, wanting to play basketball with her, she wouldn't be going through this. It was already four days, and she hasn't woken up. On the fifth day, I saw her eyes gently open. "Kelsey?" I called. She wasn't quite awake yet. Suddenly, doctors came rushing in, telling me I had to wait outside. I did, for a few hours. One of the doctors finally came out saying, "I understand that you're Kelsey's friend, Aaron?" "Yes," I whispered. He bit his lip. "She woke up, she's fine, but I'm afraid she has long term memory loss." "Are you serious?" I almost shouted. "I'm afraid so." I didn't meet his gaze. I couldn't. I wasn't going to say anything, so he spoke again. "You can go see her if you want, but she doesn't remember anything, not even her mom." I walked in, trembling in horror. I saw her. She looked helpless as she slept. I waited a few hours, until I saw her eyes opening gently again. I expected doctors to run in, rushing me out. Instead, she looked me straight in the eyes, and whispered, "I don't know you, but I like your eyes."
