Chapter 8
HARRY'S POV

"She's totally falling for me." I said, and the boys believed it. I wish she actually was falling for me. Something about Brynn is different. She's not chasing after me like all the other girls. In fact, it's kind of the other way around. I walked up to my bedroom and sat down at my computer. I searched Brynn on my facebook account, but I couldn't find her. I didn't even know her last name. After searching for a while, I finally found her. Brynn Evans. In her profile picture, her and some boy were sitting next to each other, each wearing a goofy smile. Probably the only time I've seen her smile, and it was in a photograph.

Before I could stop myself, I hit the 'add as friend' button, and it told me that the friend request was sent. I scrolled through her pictures and went to the album titled family. There were pictures of her and the same guy, who I assumed was her brother. I logged off my account and went back downstairs, determined to try harder. I walked over to her house and knocked on the door.

"Hi Mr. Evans. Harry, remember?" I asked, re-introducing myself to her father.

"Ah, the young lad that's Brynn's, um, friend." he said, opening the door wider for me.

"Is she home?" I asked, then remembered she said she had plans.

"Yeah, she's in the first room on your right. Valorie and I are going out for the night, would you let her know? Thanks kid." he said, walking out the door. I walked down the hall and saw her sitting on a couch watching TV.

"Brynn?" I asked, and she turned around, clicking the power button on the remote.

"Harry. I didn't hear you come in." she replied.

"I thought you had plans?" I asked, and she shook her head.

"I just didn't want to hang out with you tonight. No offense." she said. Ouch. This girl was good.

"Mind if I sit?" I asked, sitting on the couch before she could say no.

BRYNN'S POV

Harry came over. I could hear him walk in the door and talk to my dad. Great. All I wanted was to be alone tonight, but no. He walked in the room and sat down next to me, making things awkward.

"So what do you want to do tonight?" he asked me. I thought I told him I didn't want to hang out? Well, if I was going to play hard to get, I might as well have some fun while doing it.

"Let's go swimming. I haven't been in the pool yet." I said, gesturing to my backyard with an in-ground swimming pool.

"Yeah, let me go get my suit." he said, and I told him to bring his friends. He went back to his house and I changed into my white bikini and went out to the pool. A few minutes later, five teenage boys came over to my pool, and the four I didn't know introduced themselves as Niall, Louis, Liam, and Zayn. Zayn was a cutie.

"Hey,"
I said walking up to Zayn. I decided I wanted to have a little fun with Harry, so I started to flirt.
"Hey, Brynn right?"
I nodded and ran a hand trhough my hair, and I could see Harry looking at me from far away. Time to step up to the plate.
"Wow Zayn,"
I reached over and toched his arm, touching his muscles.
"Your muscles are looking really nice."
I could see him blush just the tiniest bit and I smiled.
"Want to go into the pool?"
"Sure."
I smiled and ran up the the edge and dived in, covering myself with the icy cold water. I popped up and brushed my hair back, and Zayn splashed me with water. I giggled and splashed him back. We started going back and forth splashing each other and I took a peek at Harry and he had a frown on his face. Perfect. I continued to flirt with Zayn for the rest of the time they were there, complimenting him and laughing at all his jokes.

"Bye!"

I waved to Zayn and all of the other boys when they left.

"Bye Harry."

I smiled at him innocently as he walked out. He struggled to put a smile on his face and walked out. I smirked and closed the door. He's still the player, and I'm still the coach.
