Hey, so for my English class, we have to write a persuasive essay (on anything), and I'm doing Hunger Games vs Twilight, but I've never seen Twilight. I mean really? God that made me mad.
Twilight IS ABOUT romance. not vampire. It's about the LOVE between vampires.
That's why it's a romance book. There can be both.

Yeah it's a fantasy, but it's mostly romance. Take out the Vampires you still have basically the same story. Take out the romance and it's a COMPLETELY different story.

Twilight is a romance book, yeah its got fantasy things in it but it's mostly romance.

You have good points. And even though I still don't like Twilight, I don't hate it for those reasons. It's just not my type of movie..
Also, I believe I'm a mix between Hermione and Bella. So I'm not really hating on anything. ^-^

I agree with you. I mean we are SO much like Bella. And she didn't go "nothing" and she HAS facial expressions.

But I think everyone is taking the "Twilight sucks" to a whole different level and making it more extreme than it need to be. :)

I liked the books the first time 'round. I think the characters were good and that's why it sold. The plot was better than I could come up with, but not the best.
I tried rereading them, though. I stopped a few pages into the first book. Her writing is rubbish. I think I may write better than that, and I'm 13.

I don't really hate it, and Meyer's writing definetely must have gotten better as the series progressed, but I could not reread Twilight because I couldn't stand her writing.
