   Chapter 45

Nialls POV
Louis and I started watching a movie when the house phone rang. Technically I didn't live here but I answered it anyways.
"Hello?"
"Hello this is  Jake from the Massachusettes Fire Department. Is this the Parent or Guardian of Alyssa Horan?"
"um I'm her older brother. Our parents are on vacation so I guess i am her guardian right now"
"Okay sir. Are you over 18?"
"Yes I'm 19" 
"Whats your name sir?"
"Niall Horan."
"Hello Mr. Horan. I am calling to report the car accident Miss Horan was in" I froze. 
"Wh-What?"
"I'm sorry sir. She is in critical condition in Memorial Hospital. Feel free to go visit her she is in the ICU"
"O-okay. Thank you sir. Have a good night"
"You too" He hung up.My phone fell out of my hand and onto the floor. I was planning out the fastest route to the hospital.
"Niall, Niall what's wrong?" Louis looked concerned. 
"Let's go." I grabbed the rental car keys from the bowl and headed outto the car with a confused Louis at my heels. I was trying to remain calm but I was not able to talk. 
"Niall where are we going?"
"T-the hospital"
"What? Why?"
"Lyss. Accident." The rest of the car ride was silent. We pulled into the hospital parking lot and ran up to ICU. We jogged over to the nurses desk
"What room number is Alyssa Horan" I asked
"She is in room 666. There are doctors are in there right now though so feel free to wait outside with the young man" That must be the guy Alex was talking about, Louis and I walked over to where there was a tall blonde kid sitting agains the wall. He looked at us with his eyes red and puffy from crying
"Um can I help you guys?" He said
"We are waiting for Alyssa. Who are you?"
"I'm Austin. Alyssa's boyfriend"
