Chapter 15 Part 2: Allie's POV
The buzz of the needle is starting to get to me. All I feel is Zayn's hand wrapped against mine, and him taking deep breaths ever few minutes. I was getting scared. He seemed so..nervous, not his usual calm self. I wanted to be there for him. Really be there, not wearing a blindfold. What I said next surprised even myself. "I want it," I said surely. The buzz from the needle stopped. "I want the tattoo," clarified. "You dont have to Allie, don't feel like you need to do it for me," a voice spoke out, Zayn. I shook my head. "Give me the tattoo," I replied, ignoring what he was saying. Alex, the artist, sighed, finishing up Zayn's tattoo. It was a while before anything happened. "I'm just putting some medication on Zayn's tattoo, to help it heal. So, Allie, are you sure, this isn't exactly something you can erase," Alex said, I could hear the smile in his voice. I nodded, getting nervous. Zayn's hand found my right one, my non-dominant one. The bad one. I held on tight, noticing the sound he made, a little gasp, as my finger pressed down on the newly cut tattoo. "One,two, three," Alex warned as I felt a sharp pain in my hand. I've been through many broken bones, and a several hard landings in ballet. But this, this was that multiplied by a million. I bit my lip hard, feeling like I wanted to scream. I closed my eyes and thought of Zayn. The pain faded away as my mind got lost in his warm, chocolate eyes, his raven black hair, and the way he looked the night of the party. Beautiful, just like the translation of his name. Everything that night had been perfect except that moment when he rushed away, when I told him..that one thing. The pain rushed back, making me wince. I felt the tears in my eyes, not sure whether or not it was from the needle or my own thoughts. Before I could decide, the blindfold was pulled off me. I looked down, wiping the tears away in the blink of an eye with my other hand. I looked down, watching as Alex spread the medication over my hand. Mine and Zayn's tattoos were exactly the same. When we held hands, they connected together, like puzzle pieces. When we held our hands, our thumbs crossed over on eachother's tops of hands. Our thumbs had keys etched onto them, in golden ink. Where the key ended, a heart began. On the key, the words "key to my heart" were written in loopy script calligraphy. The only difference between the two tattoos were the hearts. Inside Zayn's heart, the words "Good Girl" were inscribed, with little ballet shoes drawn all around them. In my heart, the words "Bad Boy" were written, with motorcycles surrounding. I hugged Alex, crying on his shoulder. "I love it," I whispered, crying again, out of happiness this time. I looked at Zayn kissing him gently. "Thank you," I whispered,"For giving me the courage." He grinned and turned to Alex. "How much do I owe you," he asked. Alex shook his head. "Free, you guys deserve it, from what I've seen, you two will stay together for a while." Zayn started to object, but Alex got up, gesturing to the door. "Go, just go, and never let go over her, don't mess it up, like I did," he said quietly, smiling at us. Zayn and I said our goodbyes to Alex and walked out of the door, with our hands, the tattoed ones, holding onto eachother. The moment we stepped outside he turned to me, still holding my hand.
"I Love you Allie, more than you'll ever know."
