The
Escape.
Prologue.
Black.
It’s what I see, what I hear.
The darkness engulfs me like a black hole,
forever sucking me deeper into it’s unknown world.
Black is everywhere, anywhere.
Slowly seeping in through every gap of light it can find,
Hiding me from the world.
Hiding the world from me.
I’m still.
Stuck in the same spot, not daring to move a muscle.
It’s like the darkness has found a way to take over me
too.
To freeze my body and hold me there, forever trapped inside
it’s grasp.
Light is what I crave for.
Colour.
To sense warmth on my face.
I don’t know how long I have been like this, in the
dark.
I don’t even know how I got here.
It seems like just a minute ago I was outside,
Under the thing I yearn for most.
I ache for it.
I miss how the beams of the sun used to shower my face and make
me warm.
Warmth,
I want that too.
It’s freezing in the black.
My limbs are numb now, they gave up supporting my weight a
while ago,
So now I lay still on the floor waiting.
Watching.
Hoping for the warmth to come, for the light and sun and
normality.
But it never
does.
Okay- how are we liking this story??
Better than the last??
