One thing I
don't like about middle school is the notion that anything
that shows intelligence or depth is derided because it's
supposedly uncool or weird.
I can't tell you how many times I've been laughed at for using "big words" or gotten asked if I was finished with my novel because I wrote five pages instead of three.
