~Chapter 5~
My phone vibrates at like three in the morning, I check it, thinking it's someone important. It's an unknown number. I think about it but decide why not? And answer. "Hello?" I say sleepily. "Did I wake you up?" Instantly I know who it is, "Well, it's three in the morning, so yes," I giggle. "Do you think I could come over?" Harry asks. I get butterflies in my stomach. "Ofcourse," I flirt. "I'll be over in a few minutes." Then we hang up. I stay in my pajamas, not wanting to look like I'm trying too hard. I brush my teeth and redo my make up, that.. It's just a must. A knock on the door sends me running downstairs. Harry walks in, looking not at all in the I wanna hook up kind of way. But actually, quite distressed.
"It's Zayn. He's really upset and no one knows why. He won't talk to anyone, not even Perrie." He says quickly. "And I'm supposed to do what..?" I ask, kind of disappointed. "Well. He kind of agreed to come.. only if he could talk to you." Harry says slowly, trying not to upset me. "You're kidding." I saw with no emotion. Behind him, I see a desperate Zayn walk through the door, trying hard to make eye contact with me. "Leave," I tell Harry, sitting on the couch. He leaves, leaving Zayn and I alone. "Well?" I whisper. "You said it meant nothing to you, did you mean it?" He whispers. Without thinking, I nod once. "Then why can't you look at me?" He asks, sitting down beside me. I turn my head farther away and try to think up an answer. "If it meant nothing, why can't you answer my question?" He pushes the subject. "If it meant nothing, why are you ignoring me?" He asks. Finally, I break. "Because I did feel a little of something Zayn! But I know better!" I shout, putting my face in my hands. "Better than what?" He whispers.
"I'm not stupid enough to date you! You're just like Ryan, the whole world watches your moves, I won't be good enough and your image won't be able to take it!" I finally break and explain.
"How would having a beautiful girl like you as my own ruin my image?" He asks, licking his lips while staring at mine. Then he kisses me, I pull away. "Because you already have a girlfriend, Zayn," I say quietly. Before I know it, he's kissing me again.
But this time, I don't even try to stop it.

"Oh my God," I whisper, when I wake up with Zayns armed draped around my waist. I stir him awake. "What did we do?" I whisper. He smiles, "Nothing but sleep, love," He kisses my nose lightly. "That's great. Except that there are probably a million people who know you're here and that you spent the night." I snap. I stand up, throwing the bed covers off. I stare at Zayns shirtless body and melt. I command myself to look away. "You should leave," I mumble. "I really shouldn't," He protests. "Why?" I ask him. He stands up and walks over so that our chests are almost touching. "Because you don't want me to, and I don't want to leave you," He whispers before kissing me again.

I turn on the TV. A One Direction interview is on, since Veronica isn't home, and hasn't been since she's staying at her Mom's house for a couple of weeks, I decide it's okay to leave it on. "So, let's do a little guy talk," The male host winks. The boys laugh. "Any girlfriends?" He asks. "Zayn?" He makes his question more direct. "Yeah," He smiles. For a second, I actually think he's going to say my name.
"Her name's Perrie, she's lovely," He smiles. "But I heard you spent the night at a certain.. lady friend's house last night," The host presses for more information. Zayn shrugs, "She's a friend. A very good friend," He says, staring straight into the camera as if to send me a message.
Well yeah, Zayn. I got it.
