Prologue

  M y name is Tara. I have brown hair and hazel eyes. My boyfriend treated me like dirt and attempted to kill me. My parents moved from Nashville to LA just to get away from him. I had to buy new clothes and recreate myself. I bleached my hair and started wearing contacts. My friend killed herself a month before my life went to pure hardships. I have an older brother and an older sister. My life STINKS. A blind man could see that. I am attending a new school in my junior year and I'm getting my first job. I live in a small apartment until my parents get money, until then, I can have.my Sweet 16. I plan on having it Halloween night, assuming I'll have more friends than I currently do. My first job in LA will start the Saturday after the first day of school. I will work in Forever21.
