Today at church we were working on a surprise for my uncle/pastor

Today at church we were working on a surprise for my uncle/pastor for pastors appreciation month, and he walked in and asked us what we were working on and I said "nun ya business." I meant it as a joke, but he didn't laugh. I guess  I forgot everyone in my family has a dry sense of humor with the exception of me. -___-
