ok so i really like this kid and he really likes me back... but

ok so i really like this kid and he really likes me back... but my parents said that i have to wait a while to date because i just got out of a relatioship like 3 weeks ago of seven months and also he lives almost an hour and a half away so i might not get to see him like i want to... yeah any advice?
