So I need to make this very vague in order to protect the people it's about, but...
my friend's dad is leaving tomorrow morning to a war zone and he will be gone for up to 6 months. My family and his family are pretty close. We gave prayer shawls and prayed with them yesterday and seeing the dad sobbing just killed me inside.
Please God, keep him safe.
