A small shook sent tingles through my fingers as I attempted to pull Evan to his feet. "Dude, I need to take a shower, leave" I say pointing to the bedroom door. "Okay, okay. See you at school." Evan says getting up and walking towards the door. He stops, as if relizing something and turns to face me. "Right?" "Yes, I'll be at school today. I promise." "Pinky promise?" Evan asks, holding out his pinky. I smile. "Pinky promise." I say locking mine with his and giving it a small shake. I follow Evan towards the front door and watch him walk towards his car. Something dawned on my then. 'Mathis would have seen his car. He knew Evan was here and was just playing it cool. I'm so getting a mouth full of this when I get to school.' I close the front door and walk towards the bathroom. I'll post part 2 later today! I let the water run down my back for a good half hour. I finally stepped out of the shower, wrapping a towel around my body. I plugged in the blow-dryer and turned it on high. About halfway done the doorbell rang. With the towel still wrapped around me, I walked down the hallway. The doorbell rang again. “Coming, hold your horses.” I yell, entering the living room. I opened the door to see the stupid boy with the brown curly hair and green eyes. He still had his ears pierced. “What do you want, Walt?” I asked. He didn’t answer. “You have 3 seconds to talk before I slam this door in your face.” I said, irritation creeping into my voice. “3… 2… 1… goodbye.” I say, beginning to close the door. Walt puts his hand up, preventing me from moving the door another inch. He looks into my eyes. “Is it true?” He asked. “Is what true?” I asked, confused. My eyes widen with realization. Walt smirked. “How did you find out?” I asked, looking down at my feet. “I did my research.” Walt says, smiling devilishly. “You’re a freak. I hope you get cancer.” Tears welled up in my eyes as Walt started to walk away. If he told anyone my life would be ruined. But I still needed to go to school. After all, I had promised. ~(-----)~ I pulled on a tank top and a pair of sweats, not caring what I looked like. I slipped on a pair of flip flops and trudged out the door. It would be maybe an hour before school started, so I decided to take my sweet time. I dragged my feet across the pavement, humming along to my iPod. "Kelsey?" I called. She wasn't quite awake yet. Suddenly, doctors came rushing in, telling me I had to wait outside. I did, for a few hours. One of the doctors finally came out saying, "I understand that you're Kelsey's friend, Aaron?" "Yes," I whispered. He bit his lip. "She woke up, she's fine, but I'm afraid she has long term memory loss." "Are you serious?" I almost shouted. "I'm afraid so." I didn't meet his gaze. I couldn't. I wasn't going to say anything, so he spoke again. "You can go see her if you want, but she doesn't remember anything, not even her mom." I walked in, trembling in horror. I saw her. She looked helpless as she slept. I waited a few hours, until I saw her eyes opening gently again. I expected doctors to run in, rushing me out. Instead, she looked me straight in the eyes, and whispered, "I don't know you, but I like your eyes."
