I saw
him standing across the room.
He walked up to me,
and stared at me
with a gentle
face.
I was confused.
"What's wrong?" I said.
No words came from his mouth, but his glistening eyes said everything.
He took the piece of hair that was hanging in front of my
face
and tucked it behind my ear.
His hand lingered on my cheek. I put my hand
on his and looked down.
I didn't know what to say, but he did.
"Did you ever think," he paused,
"that we should be
together?"
I looked up at him; my breathing grew heavier.
"Yes."
I said.
That was when he leaned in slowly, and
kissed me.
...
And then I woke
up.
