You dont need to starve yourself if you want to lose a few pounds because it will probably get you sick. If you realllyyyy do want to lose some weigh then stay active and exercise (but not too much!) If you dont eat it will actually make you bigger. If your friends or anyone else doest accept you the way you are then forget them! They arent real friends. You get your energy on food if you dont eat you cant concentrate or do any sports and you might even faint. So please dont starve yourself! Stay strong! I'm always here if you need someone (:

Hey beautiful, I just wanted to say, I'm bigger than all of my friends. They all weigh 100 pounds, and I'm 135. I'm all muscle because of how much i play hockey and other sports. But I'm in good shape, and thats all that matter. I've learned things from being bigger, 1: it's amazing for sports. Coaches love size. 2: You feel ugly. You just do. Seeing all of your friends fit into those little size 2 jeans, you just cant help but feel down on yourself. yeah, I've been there. And I also thought that boys would never like me. And to be honest, they do. They really do. I've just never oticed it because I was so 'omgim so fat. no one will like me. i'm 2308987429384 pounds and ugly.' and a paart of me is still like that, but not anymore. The whole pount of my speech here, is that please dont feel this way. I know this is cheesy, but size doesnt matter, It truly doesnt. Get that confidence boost, and go out in the world and be happy. im not gonna give you a lecture on food and stuff. i lost a lot a weight beginning of this year and i didnt change a THING i ate. I just got really active. Go running every now and then or swim a few laps of the pool a few days a week. As long as you keep really active, you should be fine, cutie. This worked for me. Went from weighing 150 to 132 in a two months or so :) Best of luck girlie <3
it might make you skiinnier at the moment , but after a while, youre going to start gaining the weight back twice as fast, eating healthy and excercising is what you should be doing it gives you more energy and just feel happier annd healthier
Guys, that's *always* technically unhealthy. If your one meal a day is healthy, and that decision remains constant, it could be fine. But it could also bloat you, make your teeth yellow, your hair lank, and your over all demeanor look awful. Trust me, that isn't the way to go about it. If you want to get thinner, eat healthier foods, correct portions, only drink water, and exercise. Starving yourself and not exercising is actually really stupid and simply going to give you bad results. It also depends on your height and weight. If you're tall, you probably will be bigger than everyone else. It isn't totally unhealthy. Keep in shape, but you can only do so much with your natural body type.
Starving yourself will not make you skinny! It'll actually cause your body to retain fat. If you wanna lose weight, cut back on processed sugar and simple carbohydrates. Eat more whole grains and fruits and vegetables in order to get the sugars and complex carbs your body NEEDS to survive. You probably need to eat about 2000 calories a day. If you wanna lose body fat, you'll need to get those calories from nutritious foods. Thirty minutes of aerobic exercise a day won't hurt either. That's how you lose weight. Starving yourself will just f/ck you up big time.
Please don't. That's super unhealthy and can lead to permenant problems like messing with your heart rate. Also you will be unhappy, have no energy and actually look bigger. Work out and eat healthily.
I felt that way a while ago and I tried starving myself. It do not work. At all. I didn't lose any weight and I actually gained like 2 pounds. Im on a diet and it's really working for me. I lost 20 pounds in a healthy way. Comment if you wanna talk or need advice(:
Well first you have to cut out soda, orange juice. Try drinking nothing but water. Next I you eat any frozen food or processed food, like the box Mac n cheese- yeah it's not good for you at all. Eat a lot of fruit/ vegetables. Try to eat wheat bread instead of white. Try eating less takeout, like if you're a big pizza person try limiting that. The little chanes make a big difference. Btw youre beautiful and you shouldn't feel so down about yourself(:

You will also always feel hungry and weak. And then, you will binge and purge and trust me, you will become addicted. Are you really willing to do that for being smaller?

If you want to lose weight, do it healthily, not on crash dieting/not eating.
Excersise more, ride a bike to school. And eat healthier, and smaller portions of food. Please, don't do starve yourself, okay? :(
It does, in a long, long time. And by that time, they become bulimic/anorexic and it does, but it also does all of the following. The gases bloat your stomach but it deprives your body of everything it needs, and it's not worth it.
Don't. Please. if you want to lose weight, do it healthily. And doing it healthily is quicker, if you do it right. Make an eating plan, tell your family you're planning on losing weight and they can support you. Get a friend to do excersises with you, to make it more fun. You can treat yourself at the end too, without eating "too much". Would you rather have an eating disorder with an unhealthily bony body, or a healthy way of losing weight, with a "normal" size body?
