"Niall I don't wanna have surgery," She squirmed trying to get out of my arms, but I just held on tight. "It's okay babe, it'll be over before you know it," Mariah checked her in, and wrapped her hospital band around her wrist. I carried her down the hall, and to the room the nurse told us to go to. I sat down on the bed, with Liz cradled in my arms, I wasn't putting her down till I had to. "Ni?" Louis came over and sat next to me. "She's gonna be fine. Their just placing a couple screws," He wrapped his arms around my shoulders as I held tighter to Liz. "Its still surgery," Tears started to slip down my cheeks. "What if something goes wrong? What if they screw up? What if-" Lou cut me off. "What if it all goes according to plan, and your worrying for nothing?" "I DON'T KNOW!" I yelled at him. "I just don't know anymore Lou. The three years I was gone, all I could think was 'is she still there? is she even alive anymore?' And here I am, with her in my arms. And I still worry everyday," I shook, thinking of the days I spent, sitting in a hotel room wondering to myself if Lizzy remembered me still, if she was even alive still. "Am I not allowed to worry?" "Of course your aloud to worry Niall, but think about how she felt while you were gone. Think about that fact that Mary and Mariah had to stay here, and worry about finding her dead while you were gone. And then remember that she's here, and everything is going to be fine," Louis pat me on the back. "She's gonna be fine." Lizzy's P.O.V. I looked over at my arm, and saw a needle pressed into it, a clear rube connect to it. I looked to the other side, Niall hand my other hand in one of his. I looked at his blonde hair, and reached over to start playing with it. He looked up at me with his big blue eyes. "Good morning princess," He whispered leaning and kissing my cheek. "Good morning," I giggled. I looked down at my leg and saw the stitches along the inside of it. I looked back over at Niall who was completely focused on my leg as-well. I reached out and swiped a piece of hair behind my ear. "You get to go home in a couple hours," Niall kissed my cheek again. "You just have to wait for the nurse to come fit your boot." I nodded my head as Mary and Mariah walked into the room. "Awww," They said in unison. "Sleeping Beauty woke up." "Oh shut up!" I said sarcastically. "You love us!" They came over and hugged me. "How you feeling Child?" "Oh just fantastic," I laughed as Niall picked up my hand again, and started playing with my fingers. A few hours later I was sitting in my pick-up truck, a walking boot on my foot, and a very strange blond boy sitting next to me as I drove. I pulled into the driveway, and hopped out of the truck. "She woke up, she's fine, but I'm afraid she has long term memory loss." "Are you serious?" I almost shouted. "I'm afraid so." I didn't meet his gaze. I couldn't. I wasn't going to say anything, so he spoke again. "You can go see her if you want, but she doesn't remember anything, not even her mom." I walked in, trembling in horror. I saw her. She looked helpless as she slept. I waited a few hours, until I saw her eyes opening gently again. I expected doctors to run in, rushing me out. Instead, she looked me straight in the eyes, and whispered, "I don't know you, but I like your eyes."
