Rest in peace to the 26 people who lost their
lives in Sandy Hook
When I first heard the
story of what happened at Sandy Hook, I didn't believe it. I
grew up and still live about fifteen minutes away from there, and
Newtown was known for their mostly crime free town. It's
amazing how one person can change so many people's lives
forever. Twenty beautiful and innocent children didn't even
have a chance to do something big with their lives. Six men and
women who had just started living. They died because they were
doing their job. These people won't be able to celebrate
their holidays this year. They don't have the opportunity to
make something of themselves. It sickens me that a man can look a
child in the eye and take away their life, but we have to
remember this day, not just for these few weeks where it's
all over the media. NEVER forget all those lives lost in Newtown,
CT around 9:40 AM. Pray for not only their families, but all the
other children who witnessed it and are scarred forever. Pray for
the officers who had to go in and witness such a horrific event
and have to try and get to the bottom of it all. Rest in peace to
my mom's co-worker's beautiful daughter. No one deserves
to die so young. Please wear Blue or Green on Monday to show your
support.
