You do know that Jesus Christ is not his real name?

Jesus is the Greek translation of Yeshua, which then translates into Joshua from Hebrew (which we all know is close to Aramaic, which is the language "Jesus" spoke). He wasn't named Josh Christ either, because his parents were not named Joseph and Mary Christ.

So, saying the name "Jesus Christ" is not taking his name in vain and not considered blasphemy as that is not his real name.

Checkmate.

I'll consider it :P "Yashusha" is his name, i wasn't alive then...haha. He presumably came from Mary and Joseph, just adopted a different name? It means Joshua Yeshua in Hebrew.

I guess they just cut his name shot or something... I guess we'll call him Emmanuel then. I think what happened was, he was originally named that in some versions of the bible but in others it came out 'yeshua'? somehow... Who knows. :D haha, you crack me up.
