For Christmas, the first thing I asked for was a 64 pack of crayons. This was number one on my list, and I'm 15. Later I asked my 8-year-old cousin what she wanted for Christmas. She wants an ipad. ...wtf
Recently saw a quote opposing abortion, and I thought I'd share my own opinion in response. Is our country disgusting because we allow people to make their own choices? Is it really wrong to destroy a small cluster of cells if you know you can't support it when it actually grows into a human, or if it will die soon after it's born anyway? It's a natural thing to end a pregnancy if one is unable to care for the offspring. Many animals have ways of ending their pregnancies for these kinds of situations. Getting an abortion the first trimester isn't wrong in my opinion. Personally, I believe the earlier the better, because once the baby has grown more and developed it becomes a little more gruesome. I fully understand if you believe abortion is wrong. I will not patronize you or oppress you for believing so. However, I do believe it is wrong that you declare your own morals better than everyone elses. If you don't believe in abortions, don't have one. Don't tell everyone else that they can't have one just because you don't like it. Who deemed you the decider of anyone else's fate? Nobody. I believe in indeprendence and the freedom to make your own choices.
