One Girl, Five Guys
» Chapter sixteen «
I put up a small chapter yesterday which is just
Ash&her mum's phone call; I was on my phone, so I
couldn't notify anyone; but it's here if you want to read
it: http://www.wittyprofiles.com/q/6554896
“Ready to go?” I asked.
“Oh, yep,” Mason got up and walked to the door with
me.
“Bye Ash,” Cody, Dylan and Owen shouted as the door
opened.
“Have her home by eleven!” Nick shouted –
keeping up with his history of unique goodbye-Ash-messages.
The door shut and Mason laughed quietly, which I must say, was
really cute.
“They are... something,” He laughed.
“Sorry,” I screwed my face up apologetically.
“No... no, it’s fine,” He smiled.
“They’re alright. Although, Nick is a
bit...”
“...of a jerk? Too full of himself? Annoying? The list goes
on...”
He laughed, his eyes hiding behind his dimpled cheeks.
“Funny girl.”
I shrugged, “It’s just the truth.”
We got to the cinema at 8:30 on the dot.
We ended up seeing Johnny English: Reborn which I laughed at for
the whole two hours.
“You have the cutest laugh I’ve ever heard,” He
admitted once the lights had filled the room again.
“Cute? It’s freaking horrible, like an old granny
with no teeth.” Then he laughed hysterically and once
he’d stopped I said, “Now that’s a cute
laugh,” quite matter-of-a-factly.
“Nope... more like an old grandpa with no
teeth,” He showed his shiny white teeth.
“Don’t steal my sentence!” I did a childish
huffing face.
“You are so cute,” He smiled.
“I do try.”
“Now you’re stealing Nick’s
sentences.”
“Oh well... it’s only Nick,” I shrugged.
We were now out in the chilly January evening,
“Ten-o-six,” I told him.
“We still have an hour until Daddy Nick comes and hunts you
down.” Again he laughed. “So what do you wanna do in
that fifty four minutes?”
“Hmm... Don’t mind. I’m quite hungry to be
honest. There’s a McDonald’s down the road,” I
shrugged slightly.
“Sure, let’s go there.”
--
“Chicken supreme and a medium coke please,” Mason
told the young cashier.
“And Ash...?” He turns to me.
“Happy meal and orange juice box please,” When a
smile rose on both Mason and the cashier’s faces, I grinned
and said, “Don’t forget my toy.”
“We’ll have that then,” Mason laughed
slightly.
Sorry for the boring chapter again. I just needed to put
that in.
