Fangirl Problems #69 When you find out your favourite celebrity

Some people started that on Twitter as a joke, they were pictures they got from google image searching the word "cutting" some people say it then did it too but almost all of it was fake.

For him to smoke in the first place is disgusting enough. But do not make fun of girls that actually do this. I've hurt myself over an artist that I had connected with so much before. Sure you might not like it but that's because you don't have the capacity to feel like others do.

It's a guy. Who you don't know. Who is 19. Who is in their own control of their life and the choices they make. HOW. IS. CUTTING. YOURSELF. GOING. TO. HELP. HIM?!

Yeah. I'm a Bieber fan all the way... but so what, he smoked weed? My brother does that and hes Justin's age. My sister's older friend went to jail for being REALLY drugged up, my sister didn't go cutting herself. And its not like Justin screamed "CUT YOURSELF FOR ME!!!"

What you just said was really offensive. Cutting does NOT make you mental. A lot of people cut, it's like smoking; it helps get the stress out, it's addictive, it's unhealthy. Then why do you think smoking doesnt make you mental but cutting does? You can't know how it feels and why we do it until you do it yourself.

I don't think she meant that cutting in general is mental, because it sure as heck is not. I think she meant that cutting for a celebrity who will probably never see it or care is ridiculous. I mean, even if they do cut themselves for Justin, what does it accomplish? Nothing. And it's awful to harm yourself because your favorite celebrity was caught smoking. Not to mention he's 18, he can do whatever he wants. The pictures are probably fake anyways. So, I have a feeling this was what she was trying to say. That cutting yourself because of something a celebrity did is just not a good idea. I respect your opinion, though, and you're perfectly accurate about cutting in it's own right is not mental.
