Then honestly, you've never had a true friend. Friends hang out, enjoy each others company, talk about anything, ask each other for advice, give advice when needed, have fun. Friends are people you can insult, and they don't mind, because they know you love them. Friends are people you can turn to when it seems like everyone else has left you, and you can cry your eyes out into their shoulder and not have to worry about leaking black mascara on their shirt or what you look like.
I can't count the amount of friendships I've had that haven't worked out. But I didnt give up, I just kept going. And then I found people ARE different, and love me for me, even though I'm mean, and grumpy and horribly rude to them.

And we need friends so we don't have to go through life alone, and end up bitter and hating ourselves and everyone around us. And if you truly feel this way about friendship, then I can't help but feel sorry for you, because you must be feeling so alone right now, in ways I can't even imagine.

A friend is a person you can relate to even if your completely different from each other. They're there for you even if you forget that sometimes, they do copy your homework and need answers for tests but in the end you know they'd do the same for you. Thats what true friendship is..

Because we're not made to be hermits. :) And not every friend is like that, though I've had a few who ended up leaving me.
If you aren't friends with anybody, then I guess your enemies of everybody? I don't know. That's just my opinion.

All people are alike though. They like different things. But that's the only thing that makes people different from each other. Everyone has treated me the same way. I swear it. They're all exactly the same.

Yeah. So we relate to others. And that's what makes us friends. Trust me, being antisocial is hell. You're all alone, you talk to no one, and nobody cares. Friends care. Perhaps THAT fact is what makes friendship important. Nobody treats others exactly the same. We all have different things we do with different people. at least, i do.

I have been friendless since Pre-K, when I showed up as the new kid from Italy. And when people told me they were my friends, they pretended I wasn't there unless they needed something from me. Homework, Answers to the Test, etc. I can honestly tell you in my book, friendship is meaningless. I have a cut on my eye right now and I had to skip school. And I have a bunch of people I talk to in school and consider my friends. But they don't give a single damn. Friendship is complete bullsh/t

Then that's not real friendship.

I've moved from Italy, to New York, to New Jersey, to Nevada. And not yet have I met a real friend?

I guess so. Everyone who seems like they've got perfect friends, they don't half the time. Their friends ditch them, trash them, lie to them, etc. When you do get a friend, just be sure be thankful because half the world doesn't have friends. You're not alone. So don't ever feel you are. A relationship takes two. You have to work hard for it and more often than not, they leave you after all you've invested in it - the tears, the hugs, the laughs, all of it. That's just life. Life isn't fair. I'm not saying you dont deserve a friend, you just haven't found the right ones yet. Don't be afraid to be someone else's friend. That's how we make friends. And if they don't keep the friendship... that's alright. You don't want to be friends with the wrong people.
