I must be dumb, I don't get it /:

In rthw play "Romeo and Juliet" by Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet end up both dying. Rosaline is the other girl and she survives. So if you aren't your "Romeo's" "Juliet", then you are his Rosaline. And she survives. So you would survive without him.
